Connecting To Your Subconscious Through The Breath

“Few basic physiological functions have escaped the attention of modern man to the degree that breathing has.” - Alan Hymes

There are many different things that make your breath different from anything else. Most other bodily functions are involuntary and some may say, so is the breath, but I want to share some wisdom with you that will make you think twice about the most vital system that keep us alive. First, you must become aware of how you breathe. Second, you must fix improper breathing patterns. When you bring awareness to yourself and fix any harmful breathing patterns, you reach the highest level of breathing where it becomes gentle and effortless yet the most efficient. By focusing on the breath, we’re focusing on that exclusively gray area between your conscious and your subconscious mind.

The unfortunate truth is that we live in a state of stress. Science tells us that for every one positive thought we think three negative ones without even realizing it. We even stress about trying to de-stress. But where do we go from here? How can we continue to live our lives and still find our inner peace? It’s a question I think many of us ponder on. The fortunate truth is that we are living in a time of monumental change, and I believe breathing is a simple yet substantial part of it. Many of us are waking up to adopt a new mindset and seeing the world in ways we have never seen before. We have the privilege of being a part this change and listening to our subconscious. This luxury is something I choose not to take for granted and I am so happy to have the ability to teach others to experience what I've experienced through the power of breathing.

Respiratory diseases are leading causes of death and disability in the world. As I say time and time again, over-breathing causes metabolic waste in stagnant tissues. When one has cleansed their body of this waste, we allow the universal breath to catch up to our present. The nervous system can come back into balance and thus, internal calm resides within. When there is a deep quiet within a person, when their organs and glands are clean and functioning properly, they are able to live deeply in the moment. The key to the moment is the breath. The breath is the initial Yin and Yang that births the rest of life. It requires focus and practice but when you spend time on your breath, you send healing vibrations to the body by achieving the right balance between carbon dioxide and oxygen. The most profound meditation techniques will use breathing to enable an expansion in your consciousness. If you can connect to your breath properly, you can connect to your subconscious mind and to the part of you that is divine with genuine power.

And guess what? All of this is wonderful because you can control your breath! You have the ability to change your perception through something your body already innately understands. If you add proper breathing to anything that you do, you can do it better, stronger, faster, smarter, deeper. If you sync your breath with your actions, you will notice a significant changes in your life. I know I have. As long as you have control and will over your breath, you can use it to heal your body. You can intuitively connect yourself with your conscious mind. You can consciously control your autonomic nervous system. I want to live in a world where people don't have to rely on medication and outside forces to survive or thrive. Most of us are blessed to be born in such complex and brilliant bodies, so let's take good care of it and use it to the best of our abilities. Love your body, love your breath, and let's live in our moment.
